Cancellation, No-Show & Late Arrival Policies

Because every pet deserves our full care and attention.

At GroomingDales Pet Salon & Day Spa, we care deeply about every furry guest and want each visit to be calm, safe, and enjoyable. Our schedule fills quickly, and each appointment is reserved especially for your pet. These policies help us provide the best care possible while keeping our day running smoothly for everyone.

1. Cancellation Policy

  • We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a $50 fee per pet, which helps cover the service provider’s reserved time.
  • Fees must be paid before scheduling another appointment.

A little advance notice helps us offer your spot to another client waiting for care!

2. No-Show Policy

Your pet’s grooming time is reserved just for them. When clients miss an appointment, it leaves an empty space another pet could have enjoyed.

  • Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full cost of the scheduled services.
  • Repeat no-shows may require a deposit for future bookings. Deposits and fees are not credited or carried over to future appointments.
  • All fees must be paid in full before scheduling your next visit.

We completely understand that life happens—please communicate with us whenever possible!

3. Late Arrival Policy

We want every pet’s session to feel relaxed and never rushed.

  • Arrivals more than 15 minutes late may need to be adjusted or rescheduled.
  • A $15 late fee may apply, and if rescheduling occurs within the 24-hour window, it will be treated as a late cancellation.

4. Pre-Payment for Repeat No-Shows

  • Clients with repeated no-shows may be asked to pre-pay for services at the time of booking.
  • Pre-payments are applied only to that specific appointment and are not refundable or transferable once scheduled.
  • Missing a prepaid appointment will result in the payment being forfeited.

5. Deposit for New Clients

  • New clients are asked to place a $50 deposit per pet when booking.
  • Deposits are applied toward your total service cost.
  • Deposits are specific to the scheduled appointment and cannot be refunded or transferred if canceled within 24 hours or if the client does not arrive.

6. Appointment Timing & Safety

Grooming pets safely requires patience, precision, and compassion. Occasionally, a pet may need extra time or reassurance.

  • GroomingDales may occasionally run behind or reschedule to ensure every pet’s safety and comfort.
  • We appreciate your kindness and understanding as we prioritize each pet’s well-being.

7. Policy Agreement

By scheduling with us, you acknowledge and agree to these policies. They allow our team to stay consistent, fair, and devoted to the health, happiness, and safety of every pet we serve.

  • Call or text us at 937-427-3777 during business hours — we’ll be happy to help you adjust your appointment.

Please Note: Unpaid fees may place a temporary hold on your account until all balances are cleared.

Monday: No grooming 6pm-7pm boarder pick ups

Tuesday- Saturday Grooming 8am -5:00pm

Sunday  CLOSED
Monday  CLOSED
Tuesday-Saturday 8:00am-5:00pm
